Yosemite Valley Lodge
Yosemite Valley Lodge is a spot for families and groups, located near Yosemite Falls. The complex uses glass and wood and blends with Yosemite Valley. It includes 245 rooms in traditional, family size, and ADA accessible options.
Rooms & Amenities
Traditional rooms offer TV with select channels. Each room has a wardrobe, flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen, towels, and mountain-view balcony or patio. Also included are hair dryer, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Guests can request an iron/ironing board, rollaway crib, and extra blankets. All rooms are non-smoking. Bunk Rooms feature a queen-size bed and a bunk bed (double on bottom, single on top). Family King Rooms, located upstairs, feature a king-size bed, bunk bed (double on bottom, single on top), a sofa, a dining table, and a large TV with DVD player.
Dining and Recreation
Mountain Room Restaurant is a full-service restaurant open for dinner. Mountain Room Lounge provides cocktails and snacks in a mountain-themed atmosphere. Guests can use a seasonal outdoor pool and the outdoor amphitheater in the center of Yosemite Valley Lodge. The amphitheater hosts ranger/naturalist talks, slide shows, and nature movies during the summer. Guests can watch a game on one of the TVs.
Location & Access
Yosemite Valley Lodge is 1 km from Ansel Adams Gallery and Cathedral Beach Picnic Area. Yosemite Valley Chapel, Yosemite Falls Trailhead, Camp 4, Upper Yosemite Falls and Sentinel Bridge are 0.5 km away. Glacier Point and Yosemite Falls are 2.5 km away. Vernal Fall Bridge is 1 km away. Guests have easy access to the rest of Yosemite Valley on the free shuttle bus. The hub of Yosemite transportation is at Yosemite Valley Lodge-with bus service all around Yosemite National Park. Guests staying at Yosemite Valley Lodge are welcome to use free parking lot. Guests not staying at the Lodge should use the day lots in the Yosemite Village area.
