lacking menuunprofessional staff
the food was not great . i found the menu lacking imagination and offering very little choice. there were no starters, only mains,.. and the restaurant staff seemed a bit unprofessional. it was annoying to leave a night early to avoid another meal there. the location is beautiful though, i have to give them that.

I encountered issues with the dining experience. breakfast service was slow and disorganized. There were delays in taking orders. the buffet items were average at best. Some food was lukewarm.

My room, a superior DOUBLE room, impressed me with its cleanliness and spaciousness. the balcony was a good addition, perfect for enjoying the scenery. i ordered room service, and the food was really good. ALL staff were attentive and helpful throughout my stay.
the range on offer at the honesty bar felt somewhat Limited. the fridges lacked tonic water, requiring a trip to the main bar.

The rooms was clean and spacious. The food in the bunkers bar tasted delicious. The grounds are very pretty. It's great for a night away. I could watch the golfers from the bar.
I paid for an "upgrade" to a noisy room. The room was next to a door. That door was slamming shut on each use because it was a fire door. I woke up at least 5 times from the banging door through the night.

My room included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. The hotel served breakfast with plenty of choice. The staff are attentive and helpful. I found a building is in amazing grounds.
