Abel Heywood Boutique Hotel has 15 rooms. Each air-conditioned room includes tea and coffee making facilities, a working desk, and a flat-screen TV. The rooms are sound-proofed. Rooms include a private bathroom with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some units feature a seating area with a sofa that can be made into a double bed. One double room on the third floor is adapted and is next to the lift. All rooms have high-speed free Wi-Fi, toiletries, 42' LED TV screens, memory foam Hypnos mattresses, and air conditioning. They also include shower gel and shampoo, coffee and tea making facilities with free biscuits, as well as a record player or vintage radio. Irons and ironing boards are free of charge. Twin rooms and disability access rooms are available upon request.
Food and Drink
Breakfast is served to the public and guests, with hot options including 'million-dollar Benedict' with bacon treacle-cured with chili, soy, and five spice. A variety of menu options are served in the hotel's on-site restaurant for lunch and dinner. The menu contains pub classics such as burgers, pies, and fish and chips, along with lighter dishes. Full allergen information on all dishes is available on request. The pub serves a range of its craft ales as well as a choice of spirits, cocktails, wine, and cider. There is a gin emporium on the first floor where you can choose from more than 70 gins. The gin bar on the first floor is named after Abel Heywood's daughter, Jessie. Guests can enjoy a selection of beers, ciders, wines, and soft drinks.
