“For a first foray into Japan, the experience strikes me as undeniably cool, embracing cleanliness and tranquility. The pod's climate control could use adjustment, as the beds firmness demand some getting used to. I think it's a great crash pad, but I suggest packing a mattress topper if you're sensitive.”

Excellent Amenities and Location

peaceful locationsuper clean beddinghigh-quality amenitiesthoughtful basket
I enjoyed the hotel's peaceful location, still very central. The capsule itself seemed like a luxury tent with super clean bedding. It was both cozy and restful. High-quality shower amenities were provided, including products for both body and hair (a VERY nice touch). The thoughtful welcome basket contained lounge wear, disposable slippers, towels, and a toothbrush with toothpaste.
The lockers for storage were quite tight. This made it slightly difficult to maneuver when a few people left bags in the corridors, especially while others tried to access their own lockers. It was somewhat awkward.
Rooms
9/10
The capsule provided a comfortable experience. Its dimensions allowed one to sit upright. Daily renewals of towels and pajamas were available. The capsule's clean environment contributed to a restful stay.
Service
9/10
The staff were helpful and the service was responsive. Necessary items, such as towels and pajamas, were provided and renewed daily. There was a fast response from staff WHEN needed.
Dining
8/10
While no dining facilities existed ON site, the location afforded easy access to various dining options. This allowed for exploration of nearby cafes and restaurants. Numerous choices are available nearby.
Location
10/10
The hotel is near Shinjuku Sanchome Metro Station, enabling easy transportation. The building's modern design added to the overall appeal. Its proximity allows convenient access to many attractions.
