The room was a double room and it was quite spacious. i found complimentary bottled water daily which was very useful (i always appreciate that). the lobby provided free coffee and ice. I made good use of that.

The air conditioning wasn't ideal. I found it difficult to get the room to a cool temperature.

i loved the spacious room! the beds felt so comfortable. they gave us a lot of amenities too!

staff spoke almost no english, i couldn't communicate well. there was nowhere to put the suitcase stand! i stubbed my foot several times trying to get to the bathroom. there was no closet to hang anything up in.

I appreciated the hotel's location. It was close to karasuma shijo station! nearby, a family mart offered quick conveniences. the hotel interior looked classy. friendly staff greeted me each time i passed through the lobby.

I found the air conditioning slightly lacking. It struggled to maintain a consistently cool temperature in my room. this minor issue did not significantly detract from my overall positive experience.

The staff was very kind and helpful, even providing advice about local attractions. i especially liked the borrowing service for amenities from reception. The foot massager was very beneficial after a long day, i used it every night.

the room featured traditional tatami mats and japanese-style windows. the bathroom was generously sized and it included a bath and toiletries. the floor had a nice feel. the room also came with a matcha kit.
