the staff were friendly, and the traditional ryokan experience felt so warm. the garden views from the restaurant provide so much calm. i loved that private onsen bath times exist to let people soak without worry. the big bath was indeed nice after long walks.

the highway noise during my onsen soak was a little distracting.

the ryokan offers complimentary coffee and ice cream. the facilities were nice, especially the hot bath. breakfast provided a good start to the day.

the building showed some age. it seems time has passed.

An AMAZING Ryokan Experience!

kind staff traditional vibe smart tv garden view

The staff were kind! I really enjoyed the traditional Japanese vibe, from the garden at the entrance to the room itself. The smart TV offered great in-room entertainment, including YouTube and Netflix, a nice touch. Breakfast was AMAZING!!! I was able to enjoy a great garden view while eating.

The reservation system for the baths could have been a little clearer upon arrival.

The location is convenient. I found that it was directly opposite the Blue Bottle cafe! Other attractions, like the museum, shops, and Nanzhenji, are also within walking distance. This made exploring the area very easy.

The room felt spacious and tidy! it was very clean. I had a great view, and it was like I was right in the middle of a beautiful garden. I was like I was in paradise.

The ryokan provided bicycles to use, a super nice addition for exploring the area! they had a very cool ice cream machine that I took full advantage of, especially after soaking in the baths.
