a mixed experience

the food was good, and the prices seemed fair.
the room was not good. the cleanliness was poor. i found some loose hairs in the bath and in the bed when i arrived. the staff also seemed like they weren't too bothered at all, and the manager was moody.

Ryan were great. I arrived quite late, hungry and tired, and the kitchens were already closed. he kindly arranged a pizza for me, which i found thoughtful (a gesture i shall not soon forget!). the check-in was hassle-free, and the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
the hotel's room felt rather basic considering the price. i was expecting more amenities.

totally awesome stay!
quiet locationgood foodfun playgroundlong walk
the location rocks. it is really quiet. i walked to the canal. the restaurant made very good food. the playground looked so fun for kids. we heard awesome music on sunday. i would totally visit again!
i did not like reception in pub. i had to walk from the hotel to the pub for pillows and towels. it was not fun.

Quiet Stay Near the Canal

The rooms were spacious and modern. I ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the pub. Each of these meals had a great standard. The hotel is near a canal, in a quiet area outside Lincoln. The accommodation block is separate from the pub, so no music kept me awake.

The room was clean.
I experienced a problem with hot water . I had no hot water for two days. I was unable to shower properly. I also found that when the room was serviced, the staff did not replenish the coffee supplies.
