i was greeted warmly upon arrival and the staff offered to store my luggage because i had arrived before check-in. my room was very very comfy and tidy (it even had a personalized welcome note). i found the breakfast really good with many delicious choices from the menu.

The noise from adjacent rooms in the early morning was disruptive. I could hear sounds similar to repair work.

The breakfast menu offered many choices. The dining room preserved the building's history very well. All staff were very polite and friendly. Thomas behind the bar was nice.

Checking in took longer than necessary. This caused a slight delay upon arrival.

the room was clean. the furniture was modern and well cared for. the room i stayed in was a GRAND double in the newer section of the building.

the hotel was QUITE noisy at night. this was mainly due to internal plumbing as toilets flushed. car parking came with quite a hefty price tag, unfortunately.
