The room was clean, which I always appreciate.

The lack of a lift was difficult (my room was on the third floor). It was a struggle to get my luggage up all those stairs. there was no hot water in the shower one morning, a cold shower is not the best way to start the day.

the bar featured local real ales it certainly impressed me the food tasted delicious i found the hotel to have a quirky and modern feel while retaining original features the building has age and character.

the tv picture was not great it was an older model i did find the shower lacked hot water even though the sink had hot water.

i noted sensible pricing in the restaurant and the menu had a good selection i recommend the food as it seemed to be of a very high standard. bar snacks were fantastic there were many options available.

on-site parking was available and i considered this a bonus the hotel had a modern feel while maintaining some traditional features i found the outside seating area to be well-kept. the building had age and character.

the location seemed quite central offering convenience to nearby places the hotel is located centrally providing easy access to various places nearby it had a perfect location right in the town center.

the room included tea and coffee making facilities and nice biscuits a comfortable queen double bed was present the modern bathroom had a bath and shower. the size of the bedroom was good.
