The Waverley Hotel is generally considered to offer good value for money, especially for a double room not far from town, and many guests appreciate its central location. The comfortable beds and the large fridge in the room are often mentioned as highlights. While some guests have noted that the extractor fan in the bathroom could be loud, the excellent breakfast, sometimes described as 'two of everything', and the friendly bar with a pool table, often make for a pleasant stay.

Amazing Stay, Fantastic Value!

large fridge hot toast friendly bar
The room had a large fridge, so useful (great for keeping drinks cold!). The breakfast was delicious with proper hot toast and really good coffee. I especially loved the friendly bar. I had a great time playing pool there.
The WiFi was patchy. It didn't really work in the room. I found it quite inconvenient.

friendly staff quiet room steep steps basic room
the staff was friendly! and helpful. the room was surprisingly quiet. it really was a nice experience.
the room was pretty basic but acceptable. the steps leading up to the front door are very steep. i think they could definitely be a problem for some people with disability issues.
