Trevor's free lift from Claybank Top and back in the morning for the coast-to-coast walk was great. He was on time. The service was friendly! The food and drink had good quality. I enjoyed the reasonably priced accommodation, too. All staff were pleasant and helpful.

there were many walkers who did not consider other guests. The room was on the ground floor, and people banged double doors outside into early hours. someone tried my bedroom door three times during the night. It was an unpleasant experience.

The staff were helpful. When I needed transport to a local wedding, the receptionist arranged for the hotel driver to take me directly there. Breakfast was delicious with several options. The room was clean and modern. I felt safe .

I noticed a slight smell in some public areas. The carpets and curtains might need freshening.

the staff was friendly and helpful. i especially appreciated the delicious food i had for dinner and breakfast. they even offered to give me a ride to clay bank top when i was hiking the cleveland way. i found that really nice.

during my stay, there were quite a few walkers who were inconsiderate. i was in room 10 and people were banging the double doors outside into the early hours. someone tried to open my bedroom door three times during the night. i reported it to the manager, but it did not improve.
