the welcome was good and the on-site parking was easy to use. room 18 was of moderate size, yet well decorated and equipped. the ensuite shower room was excellent with thick carpets and high ceilings. i could choose a half-hourly time for breakfast, which avoided a rush and offered a good selection. the walk to town and attractions was easy.

my room was in a semi basement with poor light.

the breakfast had a really good choice of cooked options. the staff in the breakfast room were helpful and attentive. the beds and pillows were very comfortable in my room. there was also convenient parking available at the hotel.

the room i had was quite hot, and there was no air conditioning or fan. the windows only opened slightly, limiting air circulation. i noticed some noise from outside early in the morning due to activity in the alley. the room seemed a bit small for the duration of my stay.

The location was good. It was a short walk from the main shopping area. Staff prepared excellent cooked breakfasts to order. They had gluten-free bread available.

My room was small. It was quite hot even with the heat off and window open. It was difficult to maneuver in the bathroom. The step out of the shower and tub is a hard one.
