“This hotel, built in 1898, retains its Victorian charm with custom furniture and unique Euro-Room design, however, some past guests have pointed out noise issues and that renovations are in progress. Its Gastown location is convenient to many sites, including Gastown historic district and Vancouver Lookout. I would say this property may not be suitable for light sleepers seeking quiet.”

Uneven stay.

helpful staffparking hassle
the staff were pleasant and helpful, which i appreciated.
I booked for four days, but the hotel registered me for only three. I had to pay extra for the additional day, exceeding the normal room cost. they did not seem to correct this error. parking was also a hassle. I dropped off my gear, then drove a block to the lot, needing a barcode to enter and exit, but i wasn't given the correct exit code. I waited uncomfortably while security figured it out, costing me an extra $40.
