The room was spacious and beautifully designed. It offered a good outlook on the city, including a glimpse of Mt Wellington. I found the design to be very well thought out. The belvedere restaurant staff were helpful..

The housekeeping could have been more attentive. One day, they did not replenish the water in the room. The hot gin punch should be served in a glass instead of a mug.
