“Wales' first contemporary art hotel, once a windmill, offers an adults-only escape. The award-winning Blas Restaurant provides fine dining, while the hotel's location makes it easy to enjoy the Pembrokeshire coast and beautiful beaches. Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Twr Y Felin Hotel is often praised for its spacious and well-appointed rooms, some offering lovely sea views or private courtyards, though others overlook the car park. Guests enjoy the modern comforts, including large TVs and well-designed bathrooms with separate showers. The hotel's location provides easy access to St Davids, the Pembrokeshire coastal path, and it's only a short walk to the beach. Really good art hotel

helpful staffcomfortable roomgood soundproofingbeautiful art
The staff were very helpful. I found the room quite comfortable. It included underfloor heating and good soundproofing (i slept like a log). The hotel displays beautiful art and there are thoughtful eco touches, like the recycling bin.
The bar prices were a LITTLE high.
Service
10/10
The staff showed professionalism. They answered all my questions concerning menu items and local history. Their attention to detail. They had considerable knowledge of where food ingredients originated.
Location
9/10
The hotel provides easy access to walking routes. A short walk takes you to the city center. This makes local pubs and eateries accessible. The cathedral is about 15 minutes on foot.
Dining
9/10
The restaurant offered high-quality meals. The menu suited my restricted diet. They prepared all meals to my needs. The food tasted great (the chef clearly knows their stuff).
Facilities
9/10
The car park has a car charger, very convenient for me. The hotel decor is tasteful. The interior features many original paintings. It gives you something to discuss (if you like modern art).

acceptable locationsmall portionspretentious food
the location was acceptable, i could walk to the cathedral without issue.
i am not happy about the food, i found the portions small and pretentious. the chef seemed unwilling to accommodate dietary needs or provide alternatives. it reminded me of they were having a joke, not providing four-star service.

Fantastic Getaway

underfloor heatingseparate toiletoriginal artworkexcellent restaurant
The room had underfloor heating. The bathroom included a separate toilet cabin. The hotel displayed original artwork throughout its interior. Staff members were supportive and very friendly. I received an upgrade to a wonderful room located on the first floor. The room included a balcony and a view of the sea and surrounding countryside. I also enjoyed a nice meal in the Blas restaurant. The food and service were spot on
The gym could use a little updating but everything else was perfect.
Dining

The restaurant provided very accommodating service. My wife had a restricted diet and they prepared all meals to her specific needs. The restaurant's tasty high-quality food and excellent service ensured a good dining experience each time.

The staff found out that it was our wedding anniversary and they presented us with a lovespoon. This was a lovely touch and very thoughtful. From arrival, the staff was cute, attentive, and couldn't do enough for us.
