Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Tokyo Prince Hotel is often praised for its spacious rooms, especially when compared to typical Tokyo accommodations, and its prime location close to Zozoji Temple and a short walk from Tokyo Tower. Many guests find the basement Lawson convenience store useful, and the breakfast buffet is frequently described as amazing. While some have noted that the room decor doesn't always match the modern style shown in photos, the hotel's proximity to the Onarimon subway station and easy access to Haneda Airport via Hamamatsucho monorail station are definite advantages.

Wonderful stay near the tower

convenience storehelpful staffuseful location
I really liked the location near the iconic tower. The convenience store in the basement was useful for quick snacks. The staff was helpful. They stored our bags for a few days when we visited Kyoto.
The check-in process was a bit slow. It took longer than expected.

The beautiful twin room included two beds that were great and very comfortable. The room had sufficient space to accommodate our luggage and move around freely. A beautiful view of the city was visible from our room's large windows.

i REALLY liked having a Lawson store in the basement. it was super convenient. the location near tokyo tower was good. the staff were nicely polite, even if a few had trouble with english.
the showerheads need work. some holes were blocked so there was too much pressure. the refrigerator in the room did NOT get cold enough. i was not feeling safe to keep food in it at its coldest setting.

underwhelming stay

taxis availabilitysmall bathroomclosed pool
the hotel had taxis readily available, a convenience i appreciated.
i was disappointed to find that both pools were closed (and it was not even summer). the bathroom felt outdated and small, especially considering the superior room i booked. the lack of smart tvs was also a letdown.

central locationlate-night snacks
The location was central. It provided easy access to public transportation. A convenience store in the basement proved very useful for late-night snacks. The room also had a beautiful view of the lit Tokyo Tower at night. A coffee shop operated just outside the front door.
The air conditioning did not function very well. The room remained quite warm.
