The staff showed genuine care. It was very touching. I adored the handwritten welcome note and cookies upon arrival. Remembering my birthday with another note and cake was a kind touch. The room offered free options in the mini bar, including some alcohol.

My room felt too warm because of central control during the colder months. There was no or limited milk for the excellent coffee machine in the room. I also noticed there were not enough drawers or coat hangers in the large modern room.

Really good Central Stay

The room was spacious and well-furnished, with a bean-grinding coffee machine. Complimentary wine and soft drinks were replenished daily (a good touch, indeed). I appreciated the window seat that allowed even more enjoyment of the city view.

I noticed dust in some areas of the room. I felt this detracted slightly from the otherwise high standard.

helpful staff cooled room

The hotel is very close to the Albertina. The staff were helpful, and the premise was very tidy. The minibar had daily restocks of sodas, wine, beer, and juices (this was very refreshing!). I also appreciated that the room was pre-cooled before my arrival.

The restaurant downstairs was very popular (it was hard to get a table).

Acceptable, but not exactly excellent

The location proved quite useful, placing me near many attractions.

Housekeeping disappointed me. The room cleaning was certainly subpar. I found myself waiting until 6 PM for the room to be tidied. It is almost as if they were understaffed.

the location was very central.

the room i had wasn't what i expected , it felt quite different from the pictures online. cleanliness was also an issue , i noticed dust in some areas. this wasn't the standard i hoped for , given the price.
