Really good Stay, High-Quality Amenities and Service

powerful shower delicious breakfast

The room had beautiful decorations, equipped with everything needed. The shower was VERY powerful. I found the pub downstairs inviting, with a good selection of drinks and snacks. The breakfast was delicious, worth it.

I noticed an illuminated green exit sign in the bedroom. This shone ALL night. It lit up the room constantly. This made it hard to sleep.

The room was tastefully decorated, very clean. Linens and towels were fluffy and crystal white. A spacious bathroom included a large shower cubicle. I found the room conducive to relaxation after a long day.

Excellent Stay with Minor Issues

spacious bedroom quality bacon helpful staff

The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very tasty. It included quality bacon and sausage from the butcher. I found the staff helpful, especially when explaining the back entrance.

inflexible breakfast arrangements staff inconvenience

I found the breakfast arrangements inflexible. I was told i had to order the night before. this proved difficult since nobody was around when i returned to the hotel. additionally, the lack of a single-person reduction felt unfair, especially given the breakfast experience i had. the service was like an inconvenience to the staff. This detracted from my stay.

a decidedly average stay

late breakfast short bed

the staff i encountered seemed friendly enough, i suppose.

Breakfast started annoyingly late at 9am. Not ideal when you have places to be. i also noticed some vacuuming at the uncivilized hour of 7:30 in the morning. A rather rude awakening. the double bed felt a tad short, and i kept hitting my feet on the iron bed end.

early cleaning broken fan

I was woken at 7am by a cleaner moving furniture. there was no other choice but 9am for breakfast, very limiting. also, the fan and towel rail in the bathroom were not working. Talk about a lukewarm welcome!

intermittent noise no shelf

the room was clean and pretty spacious.

The real issue was the noise. Some kind of machine kept cycling on and off all night. this made it nearly impossible to sleep. to top it off, there wasn't even a shelf in the shower for my stuff.
