charming stay near the station
ample space modern bathroom great selection
the double room offered ample space and the bathroom was particularly modern. i found the location very convenient with train stations nearby and various shops surrounding the area. the breakfast included a great selection of choices and the staff members were friendly.
the room faced the street and some traffic noise was audible, though it didn't greatly affect my sleep.

limescale taps stained towels
the room felt unclean i noticed old toothpaste marks on the sink taps had limescale i also found the lighting poor there were shadows near the wardrobe during the day service workers didn't clean the sink my towels had dark stains too much attention to detail needs improving

tube station proximity quick room switch plentiful choices
The location is convenient as it is right next to the tube station making travel into central london simple. Breakfast was plentiful offering enough choices to satisfy most guests.
The room decor looks dated and could use a full refurbishment to modernise it.

clean room excellent bathroom faded decor dark lighting
the room was quite clean. the bathroom was excellent. i had my evening meal in the pub and it was great (especially the burger!).
the decor seemed a little faded in parts of the hotel. it needs some tlc. the lighting in the room was very dark.

The breakfast included a Wide selection. The staff was lovely and helpful. The location IS very convenient near the train station.
The lighting in my room was DIM , and there was very limited hanging space. The shower controls were VERY stiff. The traffic noise was quite loud since windows are single glazed.

helpful staff good value
staff were helpful and cheerful. this was very welcome. breakfast was fabulous, with good value. the pub and the bedroom was top notch. the location to the station is excellent.
live music in the bar on the night of my arrival was loud. there was not space around the bed to close things. the desk in the room did not have a table lamp.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The hotel is located right next to the tube station. This made travelling into London simple. Free parking was available.
The bathroom felt dated although it did have a good hot shower.
