The staff was very helpful! They attended to all requests quickly. The carvery in the restaurant had good value. I liked the family resort close to the hotel.
The room had only one plug. I found it quite noisy because of the people above. Doors were slammed frequently, it was quite annoying.

Check-in featured helpful staff (i found them very kind). The room I stayed in was better than a typical Travelodge. It included a comfortable bed with quality linen and a large rain shower enclosure. Free parking served both the hotel and the nearby pub.
I noticed only two sockets in the room, one of which was used by the tv.

the staff proved helpful and polite. the attached pub provided a HUGE convenience, especially as we were visiting from afar. having the eatery connected offered easy access to meals and drinks.
i found only two sockets available in the room, one already occupied by the tv. this made it difficult to charge multiple devices. we had to choose between charging our phones and using the fan.

Excellent Stay at Riverside Location

The reception area was friendly. My room offered a nice view. It was also large. The bed and linens felt superb. I loved the location that felt rural. It was also next to the river. I thought the five-mile drive to the cricket ground was easy.
The room tended to get hot, so opening the window was necessary, but noise from an outdoor event affected things.
