The Groes Inn, the oldest licensed pub in Wales, dates back 500 years. It features wooden beams and a large hearth. This award-winning inn blends a traditional pub atmosphere with food and rooms. The village served as the location for the 1960s television show 'The Prisoner.' It's 65 km from RAF Valley - Anglesey.

Sunday Roast Platter
The Groes Inn serves a Sunday Roast with roast rump of aged British beef, roast turkey, and Chef's roast of the day, served with accompaniments for £39.95. Guests can tuck into fish and chips, bread & butter, chip shop curry sauce and a pot of tea. All the veggie trimmings and puddings are available. A sharing platter for £30 is available for sharing. The Dragon's Fire special blend of ale is on tap.
