The Eagles Hotel is often praised for its spacious rooms, some featuring desirable amenities like four-poster beds and sofas. Many guests enjoy the views, particularly those overlooking the river and surrounding hills. Located in a period building in a central location, it's convenient for exploring, and some appreciate the nearby shops offering kebabs and pizza. While the hotel's retro style is generally well-received, a few guests have noted that the decor appears old or dated.
