The Feathers enjoys a fabulous location right in the centre of Pocklington, very close to the Arts Centre. Many guests appreciate the spacious and clean rooms, including the 'chalet' style rooms over the large car park, and find them modern, warm and comfortable. The hot buffet breakfast with perfectly cooked items is a highlight for many, while some guests have mentioned the brightness of the emergency exit light or single ceiling spotlight. Guests also appreciate the on-site pub with very good beer and reasonably priced food.

immaculate room super clean bathroom delicious sausage

My room was immaculate and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was super clean and very clean. I did love the fact I could control the temperature in the room. Breakfast include something for everyone and the sausage was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The exterior of the hotel is tired and looks run down. I think it could do with a fresh coat of paint.

The room was very super clean and cozy. It had everything I needed in a wide space. Showergel and shampoo were available. Excellent tea and coffee facilities also came with biscuits.

The hotel location was good on the high street. Burnby Hall Gardens were easily accessible from there. The central location allowed to easily access various local facilities. Plenty of free parking was available.

The breakfast was excellent and offered many options. I had good choices for breakfast. The bar and restaurant were reasonably priced for the evening meal. The full English option had a fantastic sausage.

The staff were GREAT. They were all very friendly and helpful. My room had ample storage space. The bathroom WAS clean. The downstairs pub was also great.

The room temperature was a bit high at first. This was easily adjustable, thankfully. There were no large plates available during breakfast. I had to use a small side plate.

what a find! i'll be back for sure!

hot breakfast self-serve drinks free parking lovely shower

The breakfast buffet was a real treat. it had hot options cooked perfectly. cereals, yoghurt, and fruit! the breakfast room was sparkling clean. It was self-serve for everything, even drinks! i filled up on coffee, that's for sure. free parking was super convenient, close to my room too. the shower was lovely, hot and powerful!

the single ceiling spotlight above the bedside was too bright. it made relaxing in the evening a bit difficult.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone seemed happy to assist! donna at the front desk greeted me with a smile. rhianna, the waitress, was very experienced and answered all my questions with patience.

The hotel had a nice bar area where i could relax in the evening. there were plenty of hot water and fresh towels in the bathroom. Everything felt very clean! the location was perfect, close to everything i wanted to see.

friendly staff tea facilities uncomfortable pillows exit light

i appreciate the staff was friendly. the room included showergel and shampoo. excellent tea and coffee facilities, even with biscuits for snack. breakfast included many options.

the emergency exit light stayed on all night and disturbed my sleep. the pillows were very uncomfortable. i did not sleep well.
