charming countryside stay!

upon arrival, they even upgraded my room to accommodate my dog! i especially appreciated how dog-friendly the place was, allowing dogs in the bar during meal times.

the bedroom furniture looked a bit dated.

I loved the warm welcome our dog received. A larger room was provided to accommodate him. the staff really were really good too ensure we felt at home. the location offered such peace. I could stargaze so easily at night.

our bedroom had dated furniture that didn't quite match the charm of the rest of the inn.

small plate musty smell

The evening meal I had in the bar lacked flavor. (I expected more for the price!) The plate was also smaller than anticipated. The bedroom had a noticeable musty smell. I believe this comes from the building being old, but airing the room and updating the furniture could help.

the dinner i had in the bar was a bit of a letdown, to be honest. it lacked flavor and the portion size didn't exactly match the price. also, the bedroom had this distinct musty smell.. i suspect it's because of the old building. maybe airing the room more often could help
