Stow House has over two acres of private grounds and is on the edge of Aysgarth village in Wensleydale. It is near the Aysgarth Waterfalls, a series of cascades stretching for over half a mile along the River Ure. Several walks are nearby, including to Aysgarth Falls and the village of West Burton. Landmarks nearby include Aysgarth Falls National Park Centre (0.5 km), The Cat Pottery (2 km), and Penhill (3.5 km).
Activities and Exploring
Guests can explore the surrounding area, including Malham Cove, known from Harry Potter films. Malham Cove features a 70m high limestone cliff. The cave contains a waterfall and offers in-depth, educational tours. Hawes is a 20-minute drive away. The two sitting-rooms plus dining-room give space to chat or hide away.

Stow House is 55 km from Durham Tees Valley Airport. Aysgarth Falls are a 5-minute walk. The house is located in its own substantial grounds on the edge of Aysgarth village in Wensleydale. West Burton is nearby.
