my room was a double room with a private bathroom, which suited my needs well. i found the staff helpful and courteous . the hotel's location is good, situated near local attractions (i did enjoy walking to the local shops).

i am not reviewing the hotel itself, but the sunday lunch i had was disappointing. the roast beef seemed overcooked, reminiscent of older cooking styles (i hoped for something more modern). the roast potatoes also lacked freshness.

relaxed atmosphere friendly staff

the hotel had a relaxed atmosphere. the staff were friendly, and good parking was available (a real bonus). i found it very convenient. the location is great, right in the middle of everything, so getting around was easy.

the room was quite small. also, i thought the bed wasn't very comfortable for a good night's sleep. it could use an upgrade.
