noise disturbance general shabbiness

the noise from the room above was pretty awful. I could hear every footstep and conversation. it made resting during the day impossible. also, the room seemed a bit tired. the furniture looked worn, and there was a general feeling of shabbiness. the sound proofing was definitely a problem, worn furniture

The building's location proved useful. Free parking was a definite advantage.

My room felt rather neglected. The furniture looked tired. The bathroom was unpleasant. Complimentary tampons were on display with one packet open, quite off-putting! Earplugs were provided, I soon learned why, there was virtually no soundproofing between rooms.

the location provided easy access. i prebooked parking and found it very convenient. the room had a well-stocked tea tray with bottled water and fresh milk. it was a thoughtful touch that i appreciated.

i found that the stairs were a bit challenging. i had requested a lower floor room but my request wasn't acknowledged! it made carrying luggage slightly difficult.

musky smell chewing gum

the room was old. it smelled musky and did't look inviting! there was chewing gum stuck on the side of the bed table, it made me think the room hadn't been properly cleaned. i also noticed stains on the wall near the toilet.
