the room was warm and clean. there was a little container for fresh milk, very handy (i like fresh milk in my tea!). i also had a reasonably priced full english breakfast for £10.50.

I really enjoyed that iron and board were available in the room without my asking. i also found a welcome tray awaiting me with a lovely personal message. there were 'posh' biscuits and various drinks options (a very nice touch!). i especially liked the fresh milk option, complete with a small urn to keep it cool. I thought that was fantastic.
the soundproofing wasn't great, and i could hear every movement from the adjacent rooms. it was a very minor issue (certainly didn't ruin the stay).

the hotel provides convenient parking , but spaces fill up fast, especially on saturday evenings. the pub and restaurant can get quite busy in the evenings.

the breakfast offered excellent value, and the staff were very attentive. there are good choices for vegetarian and gluten-free diners. i found the draught ales to be quite enjoyable in the pub atmosphere (it made for a relaxing evening).

the hotel's location is excellent, especially if you need quick access to the m1. the hotel offers a very cute environment. its location makes it easy to get around and explore nearby areas.

Excellent Hotel Experience

I appreciated the very warm welcome upon arrival. I quickly completed check-in and proceeded to my cozy single room. The room and en-suite were clean and the bed was comfortable. I found breakfast to have a super choice. Both continental and full English options were available.
The TV was not working and staff could not fix it during my one night stay. I received an offer of a coffee as compensation when I checked out.
