fantastic stay in historic inn

historic building modern decor clean room

the building dates back to 1555. my room felt modern and fresh. the decor was nice. the room was also very clean.

i found the restaurant closed at 2pm. this was a little strange since the bar was open. another pub was a short walk away though.

charming stay with a touch of brilliance

modern room superb dinner lovely staff helpful service

The room felt modern. i appreciated the superb dinner i had in the bell restaurant. the staff were lovely. i even left my phone charger, and the hotel posted it to me. That was great.

the tv reception was quite awful and kept dipping in and out annoyingly. it made watching anything a bit of a challenge, honestly.

The room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. the bathroom included both a walk-in shower plus a bath. air conditioning kept the temperature just right. That's important.

The room was very comfy and tidy. The presentation of the food was AMAZING!!!

The lights flickered on and off in the bedroom area. The tv reception was awful and kept dipping in and out annoyingly!

Acceptable Stay with Disappointing Aspects

road noise missing thermostat

The room became quite warm, yet it lacked a thermostat, so I had to open the window. This led to noise issues. Deliveries began around 4:30 AM with vans slamming doors. I also heard reverse beeping from a vehicle (this was not ideal for rest).
