the building dates back to 1555. my room felt modern and fresh. the decor was nice. the room was also very clean.

i found the restaurant closed at 2pm. this was a little strange since the bar was open. another pub was a short walk away though.

The room felt modern. i appreciated the superb dinner i had in the bell restaurant. the staff were lovely. i even left my phone charger, and the hotel posted it to me. That was great.

the tv reception was quite awful and kept dipping in and out annoyingly. it made watching anything a bit of a challenge, honestly.

Acceptable Stay with Disappointing Aspects

The room became quite warm, yet it lacked a thermostat, so I had to open the window. This led to noise issues. Deliveries began around 4:30 AM with vans slamming doors. I also heard reverse beeping from a vehicle (this was not ideal for rest).
