The executive double room I had was good value. It featured a very comfortable bed and a large, well-equipped bathroom (I liked its size).

I booked the hotel expecting a restaurant and gym. I arrived after a long journey, but there was no chef in the evenings. The gym was also closed, disappointing.

I attended a wedding reception at the venue, and the outside garden space offered nice photo opportunities. The staff proved excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced. I found the facilities clean and inviting, exactly what I expected for this type of event. Paid parking right behind the building was helpful.

The venue seemed a bit too cold. I felt it every time I entered.

Breakfast included both cooked and continental options, so every guest finds something. The breakfast service was very efficient. The food arrived quickly. I could also order pastries, cereal and toast. I liked that the optional full fry-up was available.

The room included a very comfortable bed that was also a good size. Heating worked well, and I easily controlled the temperature after a long night. The room was also very tidy. Hot shower was available.

The hotel has staff who are experienced in coordinating weddings. It is very obvious. The venue looked lovely, clean, and well-kept when I arrived. Staff delivered glasses and ice buckets quickly, when I requested them. Staff were very polite.

the friendly receptionist gave us a warm welcome , and the room was spacious , including both a bath and shower. the bed was super comfortable , and i woke up to a delicious freshly cooked breakfast. it was a great stay at a great independent hotel!

the room had small cups , i think they could be a bit bigger.
