“This place in Maldon, with its 14th-century roots, has a particular feel; its on-site brewery and courtyard enhance the welcoming atmosphere, in my opinion. The location is superb, placing you moments from the High Street and Moot Hall, with parking conveniently at the rear, something that impressed me. A lovely, historic place from which to explore.”

The room was very pretty. Great staff and breakfast was good. The parking was convenient and central to the town centre.
My window was stuck. It would not fully close and was very noisy because of traffic and clock chimes.

Really good Hotel Experience

fine bathroomsuperb bedreally good managementhard pillows
My room felt brand new, and it was lovely. The bathroom was fine, and the bed was superb. The management of the hotel was really good. I cannot speak highly enough. I travel a lot for work, so I see many hotels, and this one stands out.
I found the pillows a bit too hard. It's a minor point, but it affected my sleep quality somewhat. Perhaps a softer option could be available.
