the breakfast options were superb! i especially loved the vegan choices! they even guided me on suitable restaurant meals! the room was such great value! also, its location is fantastic for public transport users!
The staff seemed to lack customer service skills, which i found disheartening. i asked for an iron, but no one brought it up. when i went downstairs to ask again, a staff member spoke to me in a hostile way. It was not professional, i think.

a charming stay!

quiet hotelcomfortable bedextra privacyleaky showerhead
I found the hotel quiet, exactly what i needed because i attended a wedding nearby. the bed was comfortable, and i slept soundly. i appreciated that i could buy drinks from the pub downstairs and take them to my room. This added a touch of privacy that i really enjoyed.
the shower head in my room leaked quite a bit, a bit annoying. operating the shower was also difficult because the controls were not very intuitive. i hope they can fix the shower head soon!!!

The breakfast was excellent and served hot. The staff were friendly and cute. I found the location good to access walks near Wye Valley.
The room was dusty and not very clean. The tea tray clearly had not been cleaned. I saw stains on the pillows and towels.
