the location was perfect, only a minute's stroll to the promenade.

The shower was blocked badly, which makes me wonder if it had been cleaned before i arrived. they fixed the shower while i was out, then the owner accused me of putting crochet wool down it (i hadn't even been near it!). he had quite clearly been through my stuff. It seemed like an invasion of my privacy.

The host greeted me warmly. He offered to carry my bag to the room.

The carpet in the room needed a good cleaning. The cooked breakfast was quite bad. The food was burnt. (I'm not sure how someone can mess up eggs so badly.)

the owner cared about our experience. he made us aware of the facilities at the hotel. beverages were self service in the dining room and available anytime, that was a plus.

The room smelled like cigarettes. I was given air freshener, though the smell remained. it was a small inconvenience but still noticeable.

Our double room sea view had everything we needed. It was perfectly formed. it wasn't a large space, though it was immaculate and comfortable. the linens were clean, and the bed was supportive.

The staff was friendly and cute and catered to our needs. i arrived a little early. They allowed me to check in right away. breakfast was of a good standard, and the staff were happy to help themselves to condiments.

The location was convenient, close to the Wellington Pier.

The room had a noticeable cigarette smell. The owner gave me air freshener, but it didn't fully eliminate the odor. I also didn't receive the Wi-Fi password, and the television did not function (I was hoping to relax and watch some TV).
