no air conditioningmusty odor
The lack of air conditioning was a bummer. A fan just shuffles the warm air around. the window barely opened, so getting any real breeze was impossible. the room definitely showed its age. I think 'shabby chic' is the term, though 'shabby' is doing most of the work here. also, the hallways had this strange, musty odor making me feel like i checked into grandma's attic.
