“Nelson Hotel's seafront location in Great Yarmouth is undeniably appealing, and the low rates, particularly on weekends, make it a tempting choice for budget-conscious travelers. While some aspects, like the small rooms and early bar closing, might not suit every guest, the inclusion of a pool room is a welcome surprise. For those prioritizing value and location over luxury, this hotel presents a reasonable option.”

the room, a double room, was spacious and lovely. the beds, oh, the beds! they were so soft and inviting. the staff were kind souls, always ready with a smile.
The hallways, they have this little musty smell i found off-putting. the lift made strange noises, which worried me a bit. the tv remote didnt work properly. I had to change the channel manually.

Decent location. Disappointing room

musty corridorsfalling plaster
The hotel looked quite run down upon arrival. The cramped lift and musty corridors gave a poor first impression. My room had dents in the walls with falling plaster. The TV remote didn't even work with the TV, so I had no entertainment.
