Rooms and suites

The Sun Valley Resort provides a mix of lodging accommodations. The 223 deluxe guest rooms include luxury bed linens, European furnishings, marble bathrooms, and step-out balconies with views across the San Diego skyline, bay, and Balboa Park. Rooms include ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. Suites feature handmade solid oak French furnishings, marble baths, bathrobes, and flat-screen TVs, along with mini refrigerators. Premier King Rooms feature granite entries, king beds, custom furnishings, wool carpets, and en suite bathrooms with granite floors and walls, dressing areas, closets, separate walk-in showers, double sink vanities, and soaking tubs. Premium Queen Suites offer updated decor with a warm color palette, bedrooms with 2 queen beds, and sitting rooms with pull-out sofa beds. Lodge II Apartment condos offer two- or three-bedroom apartments near the ice rink, bowling alley, salon and restaurants at the Sun Valley Lodge. Some suites have views of Sun Valley's ice rink and the mountains. These suites include granite entries, wool carpets, sitting areas, bathrooms with soaking tubs, walk-in showers, granite floors, double sink vanities, walk-in dressing areas, built-in cabinet dressers, ski closets, two flat-screen HD TVs, in-room safes, refrigerators, complimentary WiFi, and radio/charging docks.

Onsite dining

Sun Valley restaurants offer elevated food. The Meridian pizza restaurant offers appetizers such as Brie Kisses with brie cheese inside a puff pastry, served with Jalapeño boysenberry dip. Onsite restaurants are available for your convenience.

Leisure and activities

Sun Valley provides a range of activities. Public parks and pocket parks are available. The resort has mountain trails with a steep vertical drop. There is also a free Experience Hall, wellness vendors, movement and yoga classes, holistic hiking and mountain meditations. Baldy Mountain has fall line skiing, groomers, lodges serving tacos and fondue, and minimal lift lines. Guests can use a utility room with cabinets, a sink, cubbies, and a front-loading washer and dryer. The Spa at Sun Valley has massage therapy to salon services, a fitness facility and refined amenities. Guests can select between two 18-hole and one 9-hole golf course. There is a 25-acre practice facility and 18-hole Putting Course.

Sun Valley Resort is 25 km from Friedman Memorial Airport. The village provides a complimentary bus service to connect guests with activities in town and on the mountains. Non-stop daily flights to Hailey's Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) are available from major hubs. Shuttle services are available from Hailey Friedman Airport and Boise Airport. The Sun Valley Village is located just over 1 mile from Downtown Ketchum, Idaho.
