broken knobs shabby room
The room had homely touches, acceptable I suppose.
The TV remote didn't work, I had to ask for new batteries, ridiculous! the drawers were badly chipped. No one seems to care about maintenance anymore. The room was listed as high end, but turned out quite shabby.

an okay stay
lovely dinner friendly service shabby room chipped drawers
my dinner was REALLY lovely. the evening meal was prompt, even though we arrived after 8pm. the service was wonderfully helpful, and very friendly.
our room was listed as having a high end finish. unFORTUNATELY, it was quite shabby. drawers were badly chipped.

large portion great omelette
i had the rump steak one evening, a very large portion. breakfast was also great, my omelette was enormous and it included bacon and cheese.
the hot tub was not explained particularly well, more wood was required than i expected.

My room was clean, and the breakfast tasted good. The staff was friendly. They quickly resolved a minor issue with my room key.
The shower had low water pressure, a problem I noted . The noise from a nearby machine was quite audible, especially late at night.

a good experience
attentive staff spacious rooms local items well-equipped room
the food i ate was really good, and the rooms i stayed in were spacious. the staff were very attentive, they addressed all my needs with great care. breakfast included several local items and was quite a treat. i especially liked the well equipped rooms.
the location, being slightly remote, required a bit of driving, it limited spontaneous outings without planning ahead.

the room included a modern walk in shower and comfortable beds, offering a relaxing environment. amenities included complimentary high-speed internet, useful for both work and leisure, which i found helpful. daily housekeeping ensured a very clean and pleasant atmosphere.

the breakfast had fresh fruit and a good choice of items. the shower was large and had a lot of water pressure. the bed was very comfy and tidy.

good sized room nice bedding excellent food
My room was a good size. The bedding and towels were nice and comfortable. The food was excellent, and the service was lovely. I noticed thoughtful touches, such as de-icer provided for the car.
The operation of the sauna was not well explained.
