The original fixtures and fittings were beautiful. I found the bed comfortable and clean. The provided sheets were crisp and white. I requested a quiet room and the hotel supported my wishes. I slept well.

I noticed the need for a fresh coat of paint in some areas of the building.

pathetic shower smashed cars

The room was tidy, i will give it that. the shower was really quite pathetic. i also noticed there was a lot of noise coming from other rooms. People moving about. there were two smashed up cars in the parking lot at the back!?! that did make me worry about leaving my car there

Quiet and Comfortable Stay

helpful staff clean room really good bedding

The hotel has character. My room was clean. The bedding was really good. The bathroom was very nice. Everything I needed was there.

The shower did not drain well. I worried about it overflowing onto the floor. The shower door did not close properly because the rail was not fitted correctly.

The lady behind reception was friendly. The staff provided great support. The gentleman behind the desk listened to my concerns. He also cared about my comfort. I found this very excellent. All were helpful.

surprising little find

helpful staff clean bedding functional bathroom

I booked last minute because i needed to be near for work. the staff was great and very helpful. I appreciated that. the bedding was really good, and the bathroom was very clean. it had everything i needed for my short stay.

I noticed a very small stain on the carpet near the desk. It wasn't a big deal, but it was there.

The double room included crisp, clean sheets and comfortable pillows. I slept very well. the room had blackout curtains, and the temperature controls worked effectively. the bathroom had fresh towels and basic toiletries.
