mixed feelings about my stay
noisy courtyard claustrophobic room
The room i got, a 'preferential room' no less, was right next to the stairs to the entry courtyard. people walking by could peek right in. keeping the window open meant hearing everything from the courtyard. Smokers, luggage, loud talkers. privacy meant keeping the drapes and windows shut. it felt a bit like a prison.

wonderful central stay
cool room friendly staff helpful staff
my room got very cool at night. this hotel is beautiful. the staff was friendly. someone was at the desk for 24 hours if i ever needed anything! they had someone there to help me.
parking was a little challenging but i was able to figure it out!

The breakfast had fresh ingredients and homemade options! it seemed really good. the hotel restaurant provides a really intimate scenario. the breakfast may be the only place they could improve a little bit. It is fairly average.

the hotel building is gorgeous! it is very well kept. the location is optimal in the old town. the surroundings are quiet. the rooftop terrace is amazing. there is no fitness space available.

the staff were amazing and so helpful. they were really good. the front desk gave lots of suggestions. they booked some tours for me! great communication was always present. i was received with cava.

some issues with the room's location.
room location constant noise
i rarely leave negative feedback, but i feel it's warranted here. my room's window faced the stairs to the entry courtyard. this meant constant noise and lack of privacy as people used the stairs. closing the drapes and windows was the only solution, and it felt very claustrophobic. additionally, the promised quiet location was not delivered given the room's proximity to a smoking area.

Acceptable stay
helpful staff complimentary wine adjacent stairs room privacy
The staff was helpful and kind. They carried my luggage and parked my car for me. I received a complimentary glass of wine while I completed my check in. The hotel restaurant is on the Michelin guide.
I was unhappy with room 207. The window was adjacent to the stairs leading to the entry courtyard. People pausing at the top of the stairs could look right into our room. I felt claustrophobic, because the only way to have privacy and quiet was to keep the drapes and windows closed.

the rooftop terrace included a nice pool. the hotel breakfast offered good quality choices. the setting was beautiful and the photos don't lie.
the hotel don't have space fitness, i consider this a important feature.
