The location is peaceful. The bay is beautiful. Staff members are helpful and personable. The rooms are clean and spacious. I found the bed comfortable.
The decor looked tired. I noticed broken bars on the stairs. These stairs seemed dangerous. The carpets were also old and worn.

a fairly average stay
reused bottlesoverpriced loungers
the lack of complimentary water felt cheap, especially since they reuse the bottles and charge for tap water. the pool area was small and the beach loungers were uncomfortable and overpriced. the air conditioning made strange noises, not ideal.

the breakfast buffet was really good. there was a wide range of food to choose from. i particularly enjoyed the espresso martinis made by rodrigo at the bar. they were a great way to end the evenings. the location was fantastic, being right by the beach.
the decor felt a bit tired. it didn't quite feel like a boutique hotel. the hotel could have used at least one towel change during my week-long stay. i also found the choice of local restaurants in the area disappointing.
