“The Birdham Hotel & Restaurant in Bembridge presents a mixed experience; while its local atmosphere and live music events are definite highlights, there are reports of dated rooms needing refurbishment. The bar area seems a strong point, with carefully considered drinks, and I like the hotel's family-friendly approach and community engagement. It could be a worthwhile base for exploring the Isle of Wight, if you value character and location over modern luxury.”

The staff were so friendly! They really helped me with my bags. That was a great start. Breakfast was excellent with many fresh options. I liked the big, soft towels too.
My room was small. It might have been a converted attic. I had booked well in advance and I wasn't offered an alternative.

mixed feelings about this stay

cereal boxessmall bedstreet noise
the breakfast was alright, i suppose. it had those little boxes of cereal, like you get in a b&b.
they stuck me in a closet they called a "king room". the bed barely fit, and i swear i could touch both walls at the same time if i stretched out. then, the noise from the street kept me up all night. those old windows didn't block a thing, so i got to hear every drunk person stumbling home.
