“The Southcliff's location is a definite advantage, steps from the Leas Cliff Hall and a short walk to the beach. While the building shows its age, there's undeniable appeal in its historical ties and sea-view terrace. The Blue Martini Bar, with its live music, adds a lively touch, making it a worthwhile consideration for its price.”

I really loved the hotel's location right on the seafront! It was super convenient for exploring. The staff were really friendly and helpful during my entire stay! My room had such an amazing view of the sea, I could watch the waves from my window.
The bathroom was a bit small, it was a little cramped.

low water pressuremold extractor fan
the shower barely dripped water, so i couldn't wash properly. it was either scalding or freezing. also, i noticed mold all over the bathroom extractor fan. the lack of maintenance is obvious, and its annoying considering it wasn't cheap either. i feel like i wasted my money and i would not stay here again.

nice stay with lovely sea view

sea viewcomfortable bedhelpful staffleaking sink
I had a room with a balcony facing the sea. This was totally worth a small extra cost (i really enjoyed it). the bed was comfortable even though two single beds were joined. the staff at reception were very helpful during check-in. the location is fantastic. It is close to both shops and the beach.
the sink leaked in my room and the ceiling had water stains. i noticed peeling paint throughout. the furniture was old and dated. (the scaffolding obscured the view from the balcony.)
Rooms
8/10
my room had a kettle and a generous supply of coffee, tea, and milk, great for morning drinks. the sea view from the balcony offered a beautiful vista. the double room included a comfortable bed.
Service

Location
10/10
the hotel sits on the sea front providing easy access. a short walk leads to shops on the high street. the beach is very close by providing opportunities for seaside activities.
