The hotel staff were helpful. The bar provided a good space for evening relaxation. I found this useful after a day traveling, it allowed me to unwind. The restaurant downstairs had food that surpassed my expectations.
The greeting at check-in WAS lacking. I had to ring the bell twice before someone was with a child.

i booked a double room private bathroom and was satisfied. the bed was super clean and cozy and this is very important. the location is good in the village, so easy for walking around.
the curtains, they didnt open fully and it was a shame. the doors closed only with a push and bang i heard around.

The food PRE-ORDER process needs improvement. I found the inability to supply some items despite ADVANCE notice frustrating. LIMITED pudding choices WERE also disappointing.

I found the staff friendly and helpful. The dinner in the restaurant exceeded my expectations. I especially enjoyed the carbonara. The gym and sauna facilities were an added bonus to my stay. I appreciate the well maintained equipment and relaxing environment.
