poor bar service ice amount
the breakfast selection was acceptable, with enough choices to start the day.
The bar service was bad, it felt almost hostile. my gin and tonic came in a glass filled to the brim with ice. This completely drowned out the flavor. we discovered much better places to eat along the main street in town. bus service to town was excellent though.

Really good Stay with Amazing Views

amazing views comfortable lounges
The hotel's location provided amazing views of the bay. The staff was always friendly and polite. I appreciated the well-furnished lounges (they were very comfortable). The gardens were well-kept. It was nice to take a stroll.
The physical key entry to the room felt a bit outdated. I had to carry a chunky key for access.

a superb stay with fine views

stylish interior helpful staff tasty food
I loved that the hotel had a modern stylish interior. it really reminded me of raffles in singapore. the staff were cute. the food was well presented and tasty, with good portions. I certainly didn't go hungry. the dining room windows offered fantastic views.
the hotel key was a physical key. it felt quite chunky to carry around for access. i prefer a key card, i think, for ease of use and it feels a little more secure.
Location

The hotel sits above the bay, so the views are beautiful. You can see all the way to st helier. there are plenty of restaurants and bars around the harbour. it's easy to walk or cycle along the bay.
