I found the hotel food amazing. Pete, the chef, clearly pays close attention to detail. Kris was friendly and cute. Diane was attentive during breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and clean and warm too.

The location is on a very busy main road and nowhere is walkable nearby.

The room was very spacious. The shower was perfect, providing ample hot water and good pressure. The food was AMAZING!!! I enjoyed the steak and ale pie.

The entrance did look unkempt. I noticed a dead fir tree in a pot there. The room was too hot as the main radiator stayed on. I was unable to control the temperature.

furniture blocked a hallway near our room. many rooms had piled furniture. this gave the hotel an unloved feel.
