really good service antique furnishing afternoon tea
The reception staff, especially Joyce, provided really good service. I found the antique furnishings appropriate and usable, not just for display. The complimentary afternoon tea near the pool was a great touch.
Street noise was sometimes noticeable (although not overly disruptive).

a romantic haven
antique furniture excellent service afternoon tea
Mr chris ong beautifully renovated this hotel, retaining historic details. antique furniture and decor filled the space. I loved that they were meant to be used. the staff provided excellent service. complimentary afternoon tea near the pool was a highlight. It was so relaxing.
the soundproofing from street noise could be improved a bit.

The pool is very nice and quite cooling after a day exploring the city. afternoon tea is served daily near the pool. It includes scones and other treats. i loved the peaceful atmosphere there.

the room was large and included a nespresso machine. the duplex suite has a bedroom upstairs. there was an extra toilet and wash basin upstairs on an enclosed balcony, i appreciated it. it was convenient and thoughtfully designed.

The hotel design displayed peranakan tradition. reception staff were kind. the location is convenient for walking around. the room had a nespresso machine. I appreciated this.
