decent stay

team member modern suite spacious suite poor decor small portion disappointing menu

i found the team members cute. they had some fun and jokes with my children. we stayed in a family suite. it was very spacious and modern. my sons loved exploring the grounds. they enjoyed playing on the tree swing and in the burn.

the decor in the bar seemed poor. the dining area decor seemed also poor. the fire was not on at the bar and this did not help. food menu felt a little disappointing. portions were small.

The room looked nice initially. HOWEVER, the soundproofing was awful. I heard EVERY movement next door. This unsettled my dog. The room also had mold on the shower hose and the wallpaper peeled, I was disappointed.

The hotel grounds were excellent. i enjoyed the vegetable gardens. They are beautiful and soothing. the breakfast was also nice with a good selection. i was satisfied with the various options.

I felt the bar decor was not up to par. the dining area also was somewhat poor. the fire in the bar was not lit. This detracted from the atmosphere.

beautiful gardens good selection clean room small room missing bath inattentive staff

I enjoyed the beautiful gardens. I also found breakfast quite tasty with a good selection. Our room was very comfy and tidy. Everything was acceptable.

The room seemed quite small for the price i paid. The absence of a bath was also a drawback. Some staff were very attentive though others were less so.
