Adequate stay. Some issues noticed
bathroom mildew unconcerned staff
The room i occupied felt quite dated. Maintenance is needed. the bathroom lacked proper ventilation and smelled of mildew. cleaning seemed rushed. I noticed dust in corners and a lingering odor. the staff was unconcerned when i reported these issues, it was disappointing.

wonderful canal-side retreat
lovely welcome spacious room amazing bathroom comfortable beds
the staff provided a lovely welcome i found the room impressively spacious and clean it included unexpected facilities like a coffee machine which i welcomed the bathroom was amazing with a large layout. breakfast was included it offered a great selection of items the beds provided were indeed super comfortable i slept soundly.
i noted the absence of bottled water in the fridge it is a small detail i usually appreciate upon arrival at a hotel this was a slight disappointment i encountered.

the hotel provides convenient coffee machine access at all times in the dining room i found this to be a significant advantage for enjoying a quick caffeine boost i really needed it. the front desk staff are consistently helpful assisting with any inquiries i had.

the hotel enjoys a central position i found this placement advantageous due to its proximity to both the main station and the city center it is an easy walk from these key points. the hotel is situated on a peaceful street located by a canal.

the room overlooked the canal with large window doors i found it beautiful to watch the water from my room. the room included a fridge which i very much welcomed for storing drinks. there was a big bath providing a luxurious option.

Fantastic stay!
helpful staff early check-in
I really enjoyed the helpfulness of the staff. they gave us a room three hours before the official check-in time since we needed it to prepare for a wedding. i appreciated nespresso in the room. They replenished it each day.
the air conditioner condensate pump would keep me awake all night if i used it. i had to choose between that and opening the windows, loud street noises.

noisy pump street noises
the air conditioner condensate pump made considerable noise during the night, a significant disturbance to my sleep. i found it impossible to use the air conditioning without enduring the constant hum. alternatively, when the windows were opened, the sounds from the street became quite intrusive. these noises prevented a restful night.

The room faced the canal (i loved watching the boats). Staff were helpful. They assisted me with directions to local attractions. The breakfast included a variety of options. It was a good start to the day.
The bathroom lacked a bit of counter space for toiletries.

The staff welcomed me warmly! They really care about their guests. My room had a coffee machine. I really appreciated it. The location is very convenient. It is a short walk to both the train station and the city center.
I noticed some wear and tear in my room, like chipped paint. It was only a minor issue.
