Restaurant Mozart hosts breakfast from 07:30 to 10:00 every morning. A three-course menu is presented nightly, featuring an appetizer, main course, dessert, and an extensive salad bar. Reservations are required one day in advance. Odyzee, the hotel's brasserie and bar, offers à la carte dishes, snacks, and desserts. The restaurant also offers a menu of seafood and meat specialties. Guests can eat regardless of whether they are staying at hotel. Guests can have a drink on the sunny terrace or in the charming lounge. Chefs present a set three-course menu to guests every evening at a democratic price.
Leisure and Wellness
The hotel features a spa & wellness complex of about 1000 m² including a swimming pool with jacuzzi. The Gautama wellness center includes jacuzzis, saunas, a panoramic sauna, steam bath, salt cave, ice cave, heated foot bath, and a mineral stone bench. Treatments include herbal and hot-stone massages. A relax massage is available and the aim of this massage is deep relaxation. The center also provides facial care which consists of a deep cleansing followed by a lotion, exfoliation and a short massage with day cream. A set including a bathrobe, a towel and slippers can be rented. The entire hotel is wheelchair-friendly, except for the wellness area.
Location and Transport
Hotel & Wellness Royal Astrid is located 100m from the sandy beach of Ostend and 20 minutes on foot from Ostend. Ostend-Bruges is 5 km away. The hotel is near the lively centre of Ostend with pubs. The famous town of Bruges is 15 km away. The Coastal Tram stops in front of the hotel (Koniginnenlaan), providing access to other coastal towns such as De Haan, Nieuwpoort and Knokke.
