cigarette smell second room

The hotel location is convenient to public transport. The staff were nice.

The room I was given smelled like cigarettes. I complained, and they changed my room. my second room also smelled like cigarettes. I think it was coming from the AC system so I did not try a second room change.

modern stay with awesome amenities!

nice amenities separate shower friendly staff water machine

the room was gorgeous with nice amenities plus there was a separate toilet and shower. the color scheme in the room was very classy i loved it! the staff was very friendly and willing to help. i appreciated the water machine in the hall where i could fill up my water bottle instead of purchasing plastic bottles.

the location isn't ideal it's a bit far from the main tourist spots so getting around takes longer

the hotel is near the city one mtr stop a walking distance of just 0.5 miles making it pretty accessible. a shuttle service is available it's very helpful for arrival and departure especially with luggage and i liked that.

the concierge team was great they were always friendly helpful professional and genuinely caring. they offered practical help when needed and managed everything with ease. i felt looked after remembered and welcome which was amazing.

i went to mizutani a japanese restaurant on the top floor and the food tasted delicious. the staff helped actively with taking photos and introduced the dishes patiently. the dinner price felt acceptable considering the excellent service i received.

bright gym floor window poor attitude condescending tone

the room had floor to ceiling windows and it was large. i liked the river view. breakfast was really good, it included items from different nations. there was a very well equipped and bright gym, it had a fantastic view.

the air conditioning was terrible and not cold enough. i received two counts of poor attitude from the staff. a male front desk staff gave me the dirtiest look i've seen. he then gave me the most condescending tone.

The hotel staff was courteous. The room had great views. I found the washing machine facilities useful.

The hotel air conditioning was terrible. The temperature hovered around 23c. The system seemed old and not much could be done.

mixed feelings about this stay

stuffy room unfriendly staff

The a/c struggled a lot. i stayed on the 26th floor, and even with the thermostat set to 16c, the room only managed to hover around 23c. it felt stuffy and the a/c sounded like it was working too hard. also, the front desk staff wasn't always the friendliest. One particular staff member gave me attitude when i tried to pay for laundry tokens and seemed generally inconvenienced.
